Most mobile homes in lots require it.
If you pay lot rent, it just means you bought only the home, and not the land it sits on.
If you are looking for a mobile home, look for a land/home package, if you dont want to have to pay lot rent
Good Luck!
If its in a rental park, yes because you are just buying the mobile home and that is personal prop and someone else owns the land and they want rent on the land. If you buy a mobile home on land then no because you bought the land and the mobile. If you owned the mobile home park you would you let peope live there free?
You pay ground rent as you only own the mobile home and not the ground it sits on. The land is usually owned by a company or individual who is responsible for the upkeep ie roads, drainage and lighting etc.
