  1. Price depends on state but, I have seen mobile home park lots for as little as $150/mo and as much as $300/mo. And as far, as getting land then you have to look at laws- is a mobile home allowed there and so on, there may be restrictions for county or city . Some mobile home companies sell land/home packages- this would include your lot, home, and set-up of your home. Good Luck

  2. This all depends. If you are going to live in what is considered a mobile home park, then yes you have to rent the land. Depending on where you live the price can vary. Some places will let you rent for as little as $200 a month. It also depends on if you are renting “yard space” this will increase the price.

    To buy a mobil home can range from a double wide which is a really big house 2000 sq ft. around 40,000. To a 16×80 single wide that is 3 bdrm 2bath 1200 sq.ft. around 20,000.
    Some a couple of years older is less than that.
    Have to have proper zoneing for a mobil home. Many small towns in Oklahoma has zoneing for mobil homes. We live in a 16 x 80 mobil home worth 20K on two lots we purchased for 2,500.
    We bought the land first and then they will finance the mobil home. At $200. per month. Most mobil home parks charge 100. per month just to park it in there. It is about impossible to get financeing on a mobil home in a park. You can buy a piece of ground here for around 100. per month. Be sure the town has all the hook ups water, electric, gas. There is a lot of retirees in small town Oklahoma. Because it is so cheep to live here.
    Mobil home parks in California can run you 450. per month rent.
    New York the rent is in about 37,000. per month.
    They came here and bought a house to retire in for less than one months rent in New York. Don’t ever lease land, it is cheep here to purchase. our two lots are 100′ x 150′ some lots in Candian are 200′ x200′ at 1000. per lot. Has all the hookups.
    Try doing that anywhere else. Only 10 miles from a big city of McAlester, OK>Wow, I just read some of the others.
    you can set it up here for under 1000. there is hundreds of small towns in OK that has all the hookups. Water, sewerage, gas, electric, and phone and comes with internet service, and tv cable in one package deal. Less than our cable in CA.
    Left CA and cut our expenses by 2/3’s..all this little towns are zoned for mobil homes.

  7. That REALLY depends on where you are at….
    Ive seen LOTS that cost as much per month as the home payment, and Ive seen folks purchase land, and get it all ready for under $10k…. thats the cost of the land, the well, the septic, foundation, everything….
    You need to go shopping!
