If You Buy A Mobile Home From A Private Seller What Is The Process?

If you buy a mobile home from a private seller ( without land) is it nessasary for the owner to sign the title over in front of a notary or go to the dmv with you? Or can they just sign it over to you?

    I trailer is just like a car. They can sign over the title directly to you. After all, it is about the same title.
