Should My Friend Buy This Mobile Home?

Actually $3050 is pretty low for a normal mobile home, as the average price is around $9000, however you stated it is a FEMA trailer so they may be pricing it low for a reason to make it easy to buy. Besides the length and width, how many bedrooms does it have (bathrooms?), the plumbing, electricity, all in it is order?
Also, there are some pretty roomy and modern trailers that can be bought for a really low price (around three bedrooms).
You can go to Craigslist or Realtor.com and find if there is any mobile homes in that area for around the same price.
The only reason I would hesitate you to buy a FEMA trailer, is a year or two ago, I heard that some chemical or mole problems were inside their trailers and that the material they were made of was dangerous to live in, but besides that, if the trailer is solidly built and fine, $3050 is kinda a steal for a mobile home.
