Why Should My Wife And I Move From A Paid-up House, 2500 Sf, Into A Home In A 55+ Community?
I guess іt comes down tο trade offs. A nice bіɡ house comes wіth work, bυt thеn уου already know thаt. In a community уου loose thе space bυt уου mау gain nеw freindships, alot less maintaining a yard аnԁ such.....аnԁ thеrе іѕ always someone close bу tο watch уου рƖасе whеn уου take уουr wife οn thаt cruise!!

i don’t know. why should you? is the home less in the community so that you can pocket some of your asset? is it small too so there isn’t so much empty room and space to clean? Is it closer or farther from your family whichever you prefer? Do you both just need a change? could be any or all. if none why move?
I don’t know why you’re asking us since we don’t know what the 55+ community offers. I’d suggest you sit down and write out the pros and cons of living at both locations and base your decision on what is important to you.
Convenience and the opportunity to get rid of 25 years of junk and start living a life outside of the huge house.
Besides most of those communities have a low maintence lifestyle with fun for you close to home.
