  1. Lol @ do they not make *pre-owned* ones anymore. I’m sure you didn’t mean that as a joke, but it’s still funny.
    Two places to look:
-Mobile home dealerships usually take trade-ins. You can Google to find one in your area.
-Small town newspapers always have these in the classifies…just don’t expect a small town to put their classifieds online. You’ll have to actually find hard copies. You can probably find one that covers an entire region and is nothing but stuff for sale.

  2. OMG. The LAST thing you want to do is buy a mobile home while your new house is under construction. They are next to impossible to sell in a resale market. You are STRONGLY advised to rent living accommodations in that construction period.
Do your best to find an apartment or house which you can rent for the required period needed to complete construction. When you are done renting, you obligations are DONE. If you buy a mobile home, you are stuck with trying to sell same.
If you are only looking for a mobile home to place on YOUR property during construction, there are tons of them available. Be sure to check whether or not such placement of a mobile home during construction complies with local codes. Most will allow temporary placement of such a trailer for a short term.
Good luck with your building project ! ( Just finished one and would NEVER do it again.)
